The Camp Site
Nestled among peaceful, open fields, Dropped Anchor Sea View Camping offers a simple, laid-back escape perfect for anyone seeking relaxation and breathtaking coastal scenery.
The calm is broken only by the gentle sounds of birds, grazing cows, and the occasional tractor from our neighbouring farm.
Our campsite features 15 spacious pitches, each equipped with its own free fire pit, picnic bench, and uninterrupted views across the sea.
For adventurers travelling on foot or by bike, we also offer 5 smaller pitches designed exclusively for walkers and cyclists.

Guests staying at Dropped Anchor Sea View Camping will find everything they need for a comfortable, easy going stay.
We have 2 large shower rooms for you to enjoy your free hot shower in a beautiful corner cubicle, sink and flushing toilets. We pride ourselves with our spotlessly clean toilets which we have two housed in our lovely quirky shepherds hut.
For the gentlemen we have a quirky men’s wee house.
For those pots and pans that need washing we have an undercover dish wash area with hot running water, also in this area we have a small gas refrigerator for campers to use if needed.
We have a large fresh water bin for those salty Sandy wetsuits, toes and paws to be rinsed off.
We provide recycling facilities, mains water, a recreational area, free picnic tables and free fire pits on every pitch.
Our facilities area has a fun vibe with a quirky feel a little something different that always makes guests smile.
We’re also proudly dog friendly, so your four-legged companions are very welcome too.

Here at Dropped Anchor we have our little Holly Caravan which is a lovely 4 birth touring caravan she is fully equipped for a cosy, comfortable stay for 2 people making her spacious and roomy with a cosy double bed.
She is set on her own pitch with a fabulous sea view, picnic bench and firepit.

Low, Mid and High season
This is based on 1 large spacious pitch for up to 2 people and 1 vehicle
All pitches have their own free fire pit and picnic table and all have a fabulous sea view across mounts bay to Penzance, Newlyn and Mousehole and out to sea.
