All of our pitches are spacious and thoughtfully laid out, each with its own free fire pit, picnic table, and a fabulous sea view to enjoy.

On site, you’ll find clean, homely facilities, including free hot showers and a hot water dishwashing area all designed to help you relax and make the most of your stay, creating wonderful memories to take home.

Please note, we are a fully off-grid campsite, so there is no electricity on site, just peace, nature, and a chance to truly switch off and unwind.

    Dropped anchor 😊 What an amazing unforgettable experience, this sea view camping in West Cornwall is beautifully located just a whisker away from picturesque Porthleven (shops, good pubs and restaurants, harbour and pier and famous clock tower), with stunning panoramic views and fantastic extensive nature, the camping is ideal as a base for a walking holiday as it is situated close to the Coastal Path, we stayed here for 12 days in July and wished we could stay longer, but what makes Dropped Anchor a great(est) place are Debbie and Joey, they’re the most warm and hospitable people nothing is too much trouble you can ask them anything, Debbie and Joey have crafted a campsite which allowed both kids and adults to have an amazing time, they are so generous with their time to make sure you are having a wonderful holiday, really can’t rate Dropped Anchor highly enough, I’m sure we’ll be back again some day, thank you, miss you !
